The University of Chicago and the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics (KICP) will host a virtual workshop to discuss recent developments and future plans in the new field of Line Intensity Mapping (LIM).
This workshop focuses on experiments targeting far-IR lines at observed at cm, mm, and THz wavelengths (non-21 cm/optical, although anyone is welcome to attend). An overarching goal will be understanding the technical challenges that need to be addressed for LIM to be a viable high-redshift cosmological and astrophysical probe.
Participants will have the opportunity to contribute standard 15 min talks, 5 min flash talks, or a poster. We are especially interested in contributions from early-career scientists. We will also have open discussions at the end of each session.
The conference website is here, containing more details on the expected sessions.
Important dates:
- Abstract submission deadline: May 31
- Preliminary schedule: June 15
- Registration deadline (if no abstract): June 30
